Shooting my first stag
I got dropped off by the bus driver from school so me and my brother and my neighbours walked home and we had our dirtbike by the cattle stop. So we got to ride a dirtbike home, Dad called me he was coming home and there were stags on the crop so he rced home. We got some good clothes for hunting and we got the 7mil8 and some ammo. So we raced to the crop called mangago.
So we saw them. We got out of the truck and got the gun and snuck on the stags and we stopped in the ditch, got the gun out of the case and setted it up. Then I chose the biggest stag and lined it up then. BANG! I took a shot. I hit it but it was still running so I shot it again and it dropped. Then I went to go see it was really good 12 pointer and it had
And a real nice head we couldn't carry it so we called Harris and he got the tractor
While we waited for the tractor and Harris we took photos with the stag so me and dad put it in a good position and me and Albie both were holding the antlers up for a good photo and we took forever to take a good photo. Then Harris and the tractor turned up so me and dad both gutted it and then we got a chain out of the tractor and we tied the stag to the tractor. We took all the way to the chiller house.
And we put in the chiller and then we said thanks to Harris and we got into the truck and went back. When I got back I was feeling so proud of myself shooting my first ever stag.
